Dear University of Utah Partner,

ASUU is pleased to invite your organization to our annual Fall festival and concert – Redfest. This event will take place in the heart of our campus on Friday September 20th, 2013 outside of the University Student Union Building. This is one of the largest events of the school year and is a fantastic opportunity for your department or group to get in front of thousands of students.

Redfest is an outdoor festival where student groups, clubs, and campus departments are invited to table in order to recruit and promote their groups. Throughout the day, we will have live music followed by several big name concert performers in the evening.

Redfest provides a unique opportunity to reach out to the more than 31,000 students at the University of Utah. Your organization will be directly exposed to thousands of students, faculty, staff, and other University partners.

We are offering student organizations and campus departments a table space throughout the festival during the day AND the concert in the evening. However, if you would like to only participate in the morning this option is still available. Please feel free to contact us at the information provided below to reserve your space at Redfest or if you have any additional questions. Enclosed, you will find the Campus Group Application.


Applications are due no later than Friday, September 13th, 2013.

Redfest 2013

IMPORTANT: Prices are listed on a per space basis (booth space is 10’ x 10’); however, additional arrangements can be considered to accommodate reasonable and unique space needs. All groups and departments will be provided a table, red or white table cloth, and 2 chairs. ASUU does not provide vendors with tents or tarps. Please let us know if you need power (you will need to provide your own extension cords). Set up times, parking information and booth location will be sent to you before or during the week of Redfest (September 20th). Booth space is reserved on a first come, first serve basis. Depending on individual load and needs, set up may begin as early as 8:00 am.
Festival: 10:00am until 2:00pm

Student Groups: FREE

• No applications will be accepted after Friday, September 13th, 2013
• Written notification of cancelation must be submitted BEFORE 9:00 am on Wednesday, September 18th, 2012. Email notifications are preferred (to James Kirklow:
• ASUU and the University of Utah are NOT RESPONSIBLE for parking tickets if vehicles are parked outside of designated areas.
• If weather does not permit an outdoor event, the day festival will be moved to an indoor location. The evening concert will still be held outdoors.
